Anyone who has ever looked back breathlessly at their line in the untouched powder slope at the end of a descent in dusty powder snow will have fallen for the fascination of freeriding at the latest.
thanks to the Altitude of the Kitzsteinhorn, freeriders are drawn up to the glacier in early winter. The five closest to the lift are great signposted routes offer varied terrain. From the “Ice Age” to the “Jump Run” there are riders of all skill levels the right terrain for your perfect line.

Already in autumn there will be Glacier Park on the glacier plateau the first kickers, rails and boxes shredded. Bid until the beginning of May Easy Park and Central Park varied setups for beginners, experts and pros.
The mighty superpipe With walls over six meters high, top international athletes are drawn to the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun every year.
Top of Salzburg
At the summit station of the Kitzsteinhorn 3.029 meters is the “Top of Salzburg” viewing platform. Comfortable for everyone with Cable cars accessible, this panoramic point is not only unique, it is also the highest point easily accessible for everyone in Salzburgerland and the entire Hohe Tauern National Park region.
